Silk Fans are the contemporary cousin to feather fans, bringing their own unique liquid language to your movement.

Coming from traditional dance styles, learning the technique's foundations ensures you take up space powerfully while also allowing the fabric do most of the work for you.

In this workshop we’ll strengthen those wrists, condition those shoulders, and learn the foundations for fan-cy tricks to improve your technique and hone in on your own personal style.

We will also discuss fan design and tweaks to make your set of fans work for you.

Wear: comfy, form-fitting clothing that does not restrict your movement.
Footwear: Heeled dance shoes are optional but not necessary.
Bring: bring your personal veil fans so you can practice your own unique style that fits with the size and weight of your personal props!
